International Conference on Knowledge Based Development (Minsk, Republic of Belarus, 10-12 June 2009)

The Conference is initiated by the Economic Commission for Europe of the UN and carried in accordance with the order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 20 March 2009 N 34/310-99. It’s supported by the CIS Executive Committee and United Nations Development Program.
The aims of the Conference:
- Informing national experts engaged in developing and realization of the innovation policy, and also in its coordination on different levels about the best foreign experience and modern tendencies in this area in EU, USA and CIS;
- Presenting the main areas and results pf Belarus activities in creating conditions for innovation development of the country and developing the knowledge based economy;
- Exchange of experience in stimulating and supporting innovations.

- Commercialization and protection of intellectual property
- Public-private partnerships and innovative development
Venue: “BELARUS” Hotel, 15, Storozhevskaya str., Minsk.
