Fair of Innovative Developments "Medicine and Biotechnology"

On March 5, 2025, the Innovation Development Fair "Medicine and Biotechnology" was held in Minsk in a hybrid format (online and offline). The event was organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology and the State Institution "BelISA" in order to ensure compliance with the norms of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated February 4, 2013 No. 59 "On the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities created at the expense of public funds."

The event was opened by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Denis Korzhitsky. He noted that the innovation development fairs are aimed at forming and developing links between scientific, educational and manufacturing institutions, jointly implementing projects in the field of scientific research, development and innovation with their subsequent implementation. Denis Korzhitsky also emphasized that from 2016 to the present, more than 40 fairs have been held, at which scientific and educational institutions presented more than 1,000 innovative developments.

The fair presented 25 promising developments of representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Scientific and Technological Park of the Belarusian State University "Polytechnic", as well as the Kemerovo State Medical University. Among them are a system for remote monitoring of the functional parameters of the cardiovascular system based on servocontrol of the vital functions of patients, shortened chemotherapy regimens for patients with multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis, methods for diagnosing diseases, a biological vascular prosthesis, a thermomagnetic therapy device, and others. More than 120 representatives from the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the State Military-Industrial Committee and the Presidential Administration took part in the event.
