Fair of Innovative Developments "Agro-Industrial and Food Technologies" (May 23, 2024, Minsk)

On May 23, Minsk hosted the Innovation Development Fair "Agro-Industrial and Food Technologies", organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Institute of Systems Analysis and Information Support for Scientific and Technical Spheres in order to ensure compliance with the norms of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated February 4, 2013 No. 59 "On the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities created using public funds".
Olga Khvostova, Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovative Work, PhD in Biology, addressed the event participants with a welcoming speech. She noted that the innovation development fairs are aimed at forming and developing links between scientific, educational and manufacturing institutions to introduce advanced scientific, technical and innovative developments into the real sector of the economy. "The main research and development in the field of agro-industrial technologies is carried out by scientific and practical centers of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the agricultural profile. Only during the implementation of the tasks of the state scientific and technical program "Innovative agro-industrial and food technologies" in 2023, 18 technologies, 44 plant varieties, 7 animal breeds and 7 types of medicines and drugs were created," Olga Khvostova emphasized.
The fair presented 23 promising developments by employees of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Education, Gazoochistka Engineering LLC, the Group of Companies of Intelligent Agricultural Systems LLC, RUMB LLC, the Resursktor Group of Companies LLC, Aviation Technologies and Complexes CJSC, as well as the Kuzbass State Agrarian University named after V.N. Poletskov. Among them are eco-technology for growing berries of the Brusnichnye subfamily based on native biodiversity and zoned varieties and biotechnology for cultivating xylotrophic fungi, technology for bioprocessing and using municipal wastewater treatment plants as organic fertilizers, feed yeast enriched with selenium "Selekord-200" and "Selekord-2000", inactivated vaccine for the prevention of rota and coronavirus infections, colibacillosis and clostridiosis in calves "RotaKorKK", veterinary drug "Enteroglob", absorption and biochemical units for cleaning industrial ventilation air from formaldehyde, phenol, triethylamine and other harmful organic compounds, information and analytical system "Harvest" for monitoring and comprehensive analysis of agricultural lands based on the use of UAVs, neural networks and geographic information systems, etc. A complete list of developments, their description and technical advantages are presented in the published Catalog of Innovative Developments.
