Opening the event, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Denis Korzhitsky and the Director of the State Institution "BelISA" Vladimir Susha addressed the participants of the seminar with welcoming words on behalf of the organizers. They noted that in order to intensify investment activities in the country, it is necessary to create and develop entities of the innovation infrastructure. Over the past few years, the contribution of entities of the innovation infrastructure to the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the fundamental indicators of their activities, have grown significantly: since 2016, the volume of production by residents of technology parks has increased almost 11 times, the volume of innovative products — 6 times. The creation and production of innovative products, technologies, their effective implementation and use in the real sector of the economy will be the key to increasing competitiveness and ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country.
The report "Methodological approaches to the organization and implementation of activities of science and technology parks and their residents" was presented by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Denis Leonidovich Korzhitsky.
The main methods of stimulating and supporting exports of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Belarus are presented by the chief specialist of the client management department of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, Maria Andreevna Chepik.
Yulia Mikhailovna Volkogonova, Head of the Direct Taxation Department of the Main Directorate of Taxation Methodology of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus, spoke about tax regulation of innovative activities in the Republic of Belarus.
Methodological approaches to the involvement of intellectual property objects in civil circulation and their role in the innovation process are presented by the head of the department for promoting commercialization and state registers of the state institution "National Center for Intellectual Property" Dmitry Valentinovich Andrievsky.
Participants of the event had the opportunity to become familiar with the practical experience of leading technology parks, and the experience of commercializing the results of scientific activity in healthcare and education.
Technology transfer as a method of promoting innovations in the Republic of Belarus was considered in the report of the head of the sector of scientific and methodological support and monitoring of the development of innovative infrastructure of the State Institution "BelISA" Elena Anatolyevna Goncharenok.
The seminar also presented examples of transfer and commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities of educational institutions of the Union State. The speaker was a specialist of the international information and analytical center for technology transfer of the Belarusian State Technological University, Maksim Aleksandrovich Komarov.
More than 50 people took part in the seminar, including representatives of technology parks and technology transfer centers, resident enterprises of technology parks, as well as representatives of institutions and organizations subordinate to the ministries of agriculture and food, education, economics, the National Academy of Sciences, and other interested parties.
