Participation in the exhibition and the seminar is free-of-charge. The seminar starts at 10 am on 12 September 2013 while the exhibition opens its doors for visitors at 9 am. The main purpose of the exhibition is to promote the market of innovative technologies for consumers. It will demonstrate samples of products and innovative developments and technologies which have a potential for implementation in the domestic and foreign markets. For exhibits, which for technical reasons are not available for demonstration, posters and multimedia presentations showing them in action will be used. As part of the exhibition, on 12 September 2013 a national seminar “New construction technologies and materials” will be held. The organizers of the exhibition and the seminar are the SCST, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture. To participate in the exhibition and the seminar representatives of organizations and companies belonging to the National Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Construction and Architecture, other ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus, as well as private innovative companies, businessmen and potential investors are invited.
On 12 September, 2013 in the Consultation and Methodical Center of the SCST hosted by BelISA the national workshop "New construction technologies and materials" and the appropriate exhibition were held. The exhibition has demonstrated the innovative developments presented by 21 organizations — 4 universities, 9 research organizations and 8 enterprises. The national workshop "New construction technologies and materials" was attended by representatives of five government bodies (the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Communication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus) and 68 organizations and enterprises of the science, technology, education and industry sectors — 18 research institutions, 4 universities, 44 companies, and also the media. In total, around 200 national experts took part in the events of which 18 were doctors and candidates of sciences and two — corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. They delivered 31 reports at the workshop. Within the framework of the exhibition and the workshop, 11 best innovations have been identified and awarded with the diploma of the exhibition.
