Minsk hosted a round table devoted to the place of the Republic of Belarus in the new world technological structure

In the editorial office of the "Sovetskaya Belorussia" newspaper a round table entitled "Our place in the new global technological structure” took place on 20 September, 2013. There have been discussed such topics as increasing of the export potential, implementation of the program of enterprises’ modernization, the role of innovation in the economic growth, as well as the role of the business and the government in the development of innovation, science and technology in the country.

In the round table, the following experts  have taken part: Alexander Topoltsev, Head, Department of the Forecast and Analysis of Scientific, Technological and Innovative Development, State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus; Alexei Dick, Deputy Director for Foreign Economic Activities, BelISA; representatives of the Institute of Privatization and Management, the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship and the Minsk Capital Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, as well as the experts from the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus.
