The First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Denis Korzhitsky and the Director of the State Institution "BelISA" Vladimir Susha addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words. They noted that in order to intensify investment activities in the country, it is necessary to create and develop entities of the innovation infrastructure. Over the past few years, the contribution of entities of the innovation infrastructure to the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the fundamental indicators of their activities, have grown significantly: since 2016, the volume of production by residents of technology parks has increased almost 11 times, the volume of innovative products — 6 times. The creation and production of new innovative products, technologies, their effective implementation and use in the real sector of the economy will be the key to increasing competitiveness and ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country. The seminar examined methodological approaches to the organization and implementation of activities of science and technology parks and their residents, the involvement of intellectual property in civil circulation and their role in the innovation process, tax regulation of innovation activities in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the main areas of support for the export of small and medium-sized businesses. Participants of the event had the opportunity to become familiar with the practical experience of leading technology parks, and the experience of commercializing the results of scientific activity in healthcare and education. More than 50 people took part in the seminar, including representatives of technology parks and technology transfer centers, resident enterprises of technology parks, as well as representatives of institutions and organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Economy and other interested parties. |
