In pursuance of a comprehensive action plan aimed at taking measures to combat cybercrimes, prevent their commission, and improve the digital literacy of the population for 2024-2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is holding a preventive campaign "On Guard of Digital Security" from May 26 to June 4, 2025. During the campaign, it is planned to carry out a set of information and preventive measures and speeches in the media aimed at raising public awareness of the problem of cybercrime and ways to protect against fraudulent actions. Particular attention will be paid to vulnerable categories of citizens minors, elderly people. The improvement and application of high technologies leads not only to the strengthening of the information society, but also to the emergence of new threats, one of which is computer crime. A special place in this issue belongs to the prevention of digital addiction of schoolchildren. The Internet contains a lot of useful information and provides a choice of entertainment, however, it also conceals a lot of threats that can affect both the material condition of the family and the psychological health of children. ![]() ![]() Be on guard for digital security!
