The government approved the republican action plan for holding the Year of Peace and Creation

Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated February 1, 2023 No. 93 approved the republican action plan for holding the Year of Peace and Creation in 2023.

The plan includes activities aimed at:

consolidation of the Belarusian society on the basis of the ideas of peace and creation. For example:

events dedicated to significant events in the history of the Republic of Belarus and having a special historical and socio-political significance;

unified information days on the subject of the Year of Peace and Creation;

patriotic all-Belarusian action “We are citizens of Belarus!”;

information and educational project "STEP" ("School of the Active Citizen"), dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation;

development, filling and popularization of the Internet project "Documentary chronicle of the modern Belarusian state";

measures to popularize the production and labor achievements of organizations and individual employees;

improvement of the system of military-patriotic education of the population. Among them:

activities aimed at patriotic education of the population based on pride in their own country, its history and culture, striving for a peaceful and independent creative life, readiness to defend the independence of the Republic of Belarus;

the opening of a museum on the basis of the Khatyn state memorial complex, holding a meeting-requiem dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the tragic death of the inhabitants of Khatyn, destroyed by the Nazi invaders;

civic-patriotic project "Memory Train";

republican action "Archives for School": coverage of topical issues of the history of the Belarusian statehood, the military history of Belarus, the genocide of the population of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War;

excursion programs to the historical places of Belarus, places of military and partisan glory, burial places of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people, to museum institutions to get acquainted with the expositions dedicated to the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War;

promotion of peaceful initiatives of citizens and the public. Among them:

promotion of peace initiatives of the President of the Republic of Belarus on international intergovernmental, inter-parliamentary and other platforms;

promoting the achievements of the country's sustainable development during activities under the auspices of the National Coordinator for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in Belarus;

round tables, dialogue platforms, other events aimed at promoting peaceful initiatives and popularizing creative values, including: the Leadership Platform “Team of the Future” project, dialogue platforms for young students on the topic “Peace and Creation in the Value System of Modern Youth”, discussion platform "Belarus of the Future" for young students;

promotion of interfaith and interethnic dialogue, ensuring peace and harmony in the Belarusian society. In particular:

All-Belarusian prayer "For peace and harmony!" as part of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus (Republic Day);

scientific and educational expedition "Daroga and Shrines", dedicated to the Year of Peace and Accord, within the framework of the Day of Belarusian Literature;

IV Festival of Arts of the Belarusians of the world;

demonstration of the advantages of the Belarusian economic model in the face of global turbulence. Among them:

implementation of measures to ensure further growth of the economy and increase its competitiveness;

X Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia;

increasing the degree of business participation in making regulatory decisions in the field of entrepreneurial activities;

participation in national exhibitions (expositions) in foreign countries;

construction and commissioning of educational, healthcare, cultural, sports and fitness facilities;

positioning creative labor as the main condition for the development of the Belarusian state. Including:

creation of “Peace and Creation” alleys, holding the republican voluntary action “Week of the Forest”, as well as actions and subbotniks dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation to restore order and beautify the territories of settlements, historical, memorial places, landscaping of territories;

career guidance campaign "Day with the Enterprise" to introduce the younger generation into the profession;

organization of excursion events, including for students, to enterprises;

preparation of a series of TV shows about the Heroes of the Republic of Belarus, who left their mark on history with their creative work;

informational support of the Year of Peace and Creation. For example:

holding a competition for the best symbolism (logo) “Year of Peace and Creation”;

wide coverage in the media and on Internet resources of the events for the Year of Peace and Creation, the creation of thematic headings in the print media, cycles of television and radio programs, holding press events;

creation on the websites of state bodies, regional executive committees, the Minsk City Executive Committee, educational institutions of the section "Year of Peace and Creation" with subsequent posting of information about events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation;

publication on portals and social networks of thematic reviews revealing the achievements of various sectors of the Belarusian manufacturing sector of the economy;

coverage of labor achievements of employees, preparation of stories and publications that popularize working specialties in the media, including on the global computer network Internet.

A total of 68 events are planned .

The authority to coordinate the activities of state bodies and other organizations to implement the plan is vested in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus.

The legal act was adopted in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated January 1, 2023 No. 1 " On declaring 2023 the Year of Peace and Creation ".
