The finalists' developments were evaluated by a republican expert council, which included representatives of relevant ministries, departments, organizations, enterprises, and business communities. Director of the State Institution "BelISA" Vladimir Susha acted as an expert in the section "National Security and Protection from Emergency Situations", First Deputy Director — Deputy Director for Scientific Work Natalya Pavlova — in the section "Healthcare (medical technologies, pharmacy, bio— and nanoindustry)", Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovation Work Olga Khvostova – in the section "Agro-industrial technologies and farming". The awards were held in 10 categories and three age groups. The first group is students of general secondary, vocational and secondary specialized education institutions. The second group is students, cadets, and the third group is working youth, young scientists, representatives of institutions and organizations subordinate to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Thus, in the category "Agro-industrial technologies and farming" the winners were: project "Polysaccharide jam" (students of secondary school No. 8 Kricheva Kiseleva Elizaveta and Drigel Alexandra); project "New aspects in the processing of non-traditional meat raw materials" (students of the Grodno State Agrarian University Alexandra Salenikovich, Diana Khvat and Dmitry Vasilyuk); project "Lactose-free cheese — a unique dairy product" (junior researcher at the Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry Victoria Kovaleva and leading process engineer at Molochny Mir OJSC Yuri Bondarenko). The winners in the "Energy, including nuclear energy and energy efficiency" category were: project "Self-charging electric car” (student of the Mogilev State Electrotechnical College Nikita Kalistratov); project "Hydrogen Engine" (BNTU student Vladislav Shpilevsky); project "Study of the possibility of spectral regulation of the VVER-1200 reactor" (research associate of the Joint Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research — Sosny of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Ivanton Rudenkov). The winners in the category "Industrial and construction technologies" were announced: project "Robotic mobile manipulation platform "Leviathan" (student of the branch of the "College of Modern Technologies in Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Service" of the Educational Institution "RIPO" Maxim Strelsky); project "Filament ProfiPrint" (students of the educational institution "Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala" Nichipor Nikita, Olikhver Alexey, Budko Alexandra); project "Creation of high-tech composite materials based on polymer waste and tire recycling products for the manufacture of construction products" (junior researcher at the V.A. Bely Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Victoria Usova). The winners in the "Society and Social Sphere" category were: project "Tsudy s Prayavami" (students of secondary school No. 111 named after Mikhail Kasnerik in Minsk, Volynets Ilya, Atrakhimovich Maxim, Makarevich Timur); project "The Mysterious Worlds of N.Ya. Nikiforovsky as a means of popularizing national history and culture" (student of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov Medvedev Valeria); project "The first Russian translation of "The Great Art of Artillery" (1650) by K. Semenovich" (senior researcher at the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Philip Podberezkin). The winners in the "Healthcare (medical technology, pharmacy, bio and nanoindustry)" category were: project "Interactive three-dimensional model of the brain with educational functions" (students of the educational institution "National Children's Technopark" Volynets Vladislav, Bronevitsky Evgeniy, Mitkovich Anton); project "Trichrome "Cornflowers" (student of the Gomel State Medical University, Anna Kuptsova); project "Biocompatible antibacterial coating for synthetic vascular prostheses" (assistant of the department Evgeniy Doroshko and junior researcher at the Gomel State Medical University Mikhail Kovalenko). They are applying for inclusion in the President's special fund for social support of gifted students. Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Sergei Shlychkov took part in the awards ceremony for the winners of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" project. According to him, the expectations of the State Committee on Science and Technology are maximum assistance and development of small and medium-sized businesses. "100 Ideas for Belarus" is an important preliminary stage for a startup team deciding to take on their project. The experience and competencies they receive are a kind of educational stage for engaging in innovative entrepreneurship. That is why we strongly support this site. It is very important, and, thanks to the painstaking work of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, it is available to almost any young person in our country. This is invaluable,” the head of the department emphasized. |
