Today on the basis of the hotel "Belarus" held a training seminar "Attributing costs of research and development (T)R to the cost when calculating income tax with an increasing factor".

Tatiana Stolyarova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech.

Deputy Director for scientific work of the State Institution "BelISA" Natalia Fedorovna Pavlova Ms. Natalia Pavlova and Ms. Victoria Devgo, Head of the Direct Taxation Department of the Information and Outreach Department of the Minsk City Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Levies.

The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to get acquainted with the tax benefits in the scientific, technological and innovation sphere, as well as with the specifics of attributing R&D(T)R expenses to the expenses when calculating the profit tax with the multiplying coefficient. The planned tax changes for profit tax in 2023 were also announced.

The seminar was attended by over 110 representatives of the largest organizations in the country: JSC Naftan, JSC Amkodor, JSC MZKT, JSC Kozlov Machine-Tool Plant, JSC PROMSVYAZ, as well as organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Defense, Concern Belgospischeprom and others.
