On August 14, 2025, the Innovation Development Fair "Agro-Industrial and Food Technologies" was held in Grodno in a hybrid format. The event was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere. Olga Khvostova, Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovative Work at the State Institution "BelISA", gave a welcoming speech. She noted that innovation development fairs provide significant assistance in increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, help both reduce production costs and improve the quality of final products, and are aimed at forming and developing links between enterprises, organizations and institutions of science and education, using advanced scientific, technical and innovative developments, including in the field of agriculture and food. The fair presents more than 15 promising developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, enterprises of the fish and meat and dairy industries, higher education institutions, including partners from Russia. Among them: a method for determining the hormonal status of spring barley, a technology for growing planting material for white amur, a method for differentiated application of fertilizers using yield maps, dry probiotic microorganism starters, and others. More than 60 representatives of agro-industrial enterprises, producers of agricultural and food products, scientific organizations, teachers and students of Belarusian educational institutions took part in the event in a hybrid format. |
