Based on the directive of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus of 12 July 2012 N 268r, the XX International Specialized Exhibition and Congress on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies "TIBO-2013” was held from 23 to 26 April 2013 in Minsk in the Football Manege (Pobediteley Project, 20/2).

In accordance with its Plan of international events for 2013, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus (SCST) has acted as a collective organizer of a section of research and developments at "TIBO-2013". The section was comprised by Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere (BELISA), 10 organizations of the Ministry of Education, 3 research institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, 3 companies subordinated to the State Military-Industrial Committee and a private innovation company "Speech Technologies”. The section covered 132 sq.m where about 160 developments were exhibited.

During the exhibition "TIBO-2013" the SCST’s section was attended by representatives of the Belarus Government A.Kalinin, A.Kobiakov and N.Panteley, different state managing bodies, enterprises and commercial companies.

Upon the results of the exhibition, all the exhibitors were awarded with diplomas. The SCST’s section generated considerable interest among the visitors, both experts and ordinary citizens. Generally, participation in the exhibition can be considered a success.
