Republican seminar "Technoparks: problems, opportunities and development prospects"

On November 17, 2023, the national seminar "Technoparks: Problems, Opportunities and Development Prospects" was held in Minsk on the basis of the Belarus Hotel.

Denis Korzhitsky, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Economic Sciences, addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech.

General Director of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs Pyotr Arushanyants, Director of the state enterprise "Agency for Development and Investment Promotion" Andrey Bobovich, Director of the limited liability company "InKata" Evgeny Malchevsky, Director of the closed joint stock company "Brest Science and Technology Park" Dmitry Makaruk, Director of limited Liability Company "Minsk City Technopark" Vladimir A. Davidovich, Patent Attorney of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Director of ODO "Lekspatent" Galina V. Vashuk, Head of the Scientific and Innovation Department of the Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Problems Yuri V. Nechepurenko and Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers named after M. S. Kunyavsky Dmitry Krupsky.

More than 30 participants of the seminar, representing technoparks, other subjects of innovative infrastructure and higher educational institutions, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the sources of support for business projects of technoparks and their residents, with productive solutions of effective technoparks, with the organization of using the technopark innovation development fund to provide services to residents and support the implementation of innovative projects, with the specifics of evaluating the effectiveness of technoparks and their residents, the formation of reports by technoparks, as well as using the practices of ranking science and technology parks in the Republic of Belarus. There were also reports on patents as tools for commercializing the results of scientific and technical activities, on strengthening the potential of technoparks in the field of commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities, as well as on the initiative of the Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers named after M. S. Kunyavsky to create an association for the development of innovative infrastructure and innovative entrepreneurship.
