16th Republican Competition of Innovative Projects — Call for Applications

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union", the Belarusian Innovation Fund continues to accept applications for participation in the 16th Republican Competition of Innovative Projects.

Participation in the competition is an opportunity for project developers to present their ideas to the general public, receive expert evaluation and cash prizes.

The competition considers innovative projects at various stages of implementation with a commercialization strategy that correspond to priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities.

Nominations: "Best Innovative Project" (participants can be legal entities and individuals) and "Best Youth Innovative Project" (for individuals under 35 years of age).

In order to prepare the competition participants for the consideration and defense of innovative projects, training seminars will be held with the involvement of leading Belarusian specialists in innovation and venture activities, business planning.

Participation procedure: before August 1, 2025,  it is necessary to complete mandatory registration on the competition website, fill out forms (application, passport and business plan of the innovative project or feasibility study, commercialization strategy) and send a set of competition documents in printed form to the address of the Belarusian Innovation Fund (220072, Minsk, Nezavisimosti Ave., 68-2, office 112).

After the absentee selection of applications (checking documents for formal features, examination), the authors of the 40 best developments will take part in the final stage of the competition — the defense of projects before the competition council.

The winners and prize winners of the competition will be awarded diplomas and prizes:

1. first place (2 winners) – 86 base units (3612 rubles);
2. second place (4 winners) – 57 basic units (2394 rubles);
3. third place (6 winners) – 29 base units (1218 rubles).

Among the winners and prize winners, the competition council selects projects for further commercialization of their results, which will receive certificates in the amount of 571 basic units (23,982 rubles).
