The XXVIII International Specialized Exhibition "Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro" has opened

15.10.2024

The XXVIII International Specialized Exhibition "Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro" is being held in Minsk as part of the XXVIII Belarusian Energy and Ecological Forum.

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus is the organizer of the scientific and technical developments section, and the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere" is the exhibition operator.

The collective stand of the SCST is presented by 77 developments of organizations of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, technology parks and their residents, as well as subordinate organizations of the SCST. The developments are presented in the form of full-scale samples, models, multimedia presentations, videos, brochures, booklets and other printed publications.

Among the developments of the Ministry of Education are:

stainless steel mirrors for special equipment. Mirror surfaces are used as resonator mirrors for powerful lasers, in video surveillance systems, rasters, as heat sinks in optoelectronic equipment and substrates for nanotechnological applications, for aviation and armored vehicles instead of stainless steel mirrors, for motorcycles and automobiles — instead of glass external and in-cabin mirrors. They have a high quality optical surface, high mechanical and radiation strength, wide functional capabilities (Belarusian State University);

ultra-wideband anechoic chamber for measuring sites. It is designed for high-precision measurements of the characteristics of antenna technology of modern radar systems, radio navigation and communications, and testing of electronic equipment for electromagnetic compatibility. In terms of its electrodynamic and operational characteristics, it is not inferior to the best world models, such as anechoic chambers from Franconia, while having a price advantage. Compared to foreign analogues, it has a reduced coverage size, which allows it to be placed on smaller areas without deterioration of metrological characteristics and loss of measurement quality (Belarusian State University);

technologies for applying protective zinc coatings using dispersed and lump waste from hot-dip galvanizing. The technology for producing an inexpensive zinc mixture from dispersed and lump waste from hot-dip galvanizing is effective when used as a saturating mixture for thermal diffusion galvanizing and as a cheap substitute for standard powdered zinc for the production of zinc-containing paints (Belarusian National Technical University);

an electrical energy storage system designed for use in an electric grid complex. The main competitive advantage of electrical energy storage systems is their multifunctionality (Educational Institution "Belarusian State Technological University");

heat-resistant ceramic materials for heating units. Import-substituting heat-resistant ceramic materials are intended for use in the engineering, machine-tool and metallurgical industries (as an insulating coating for furnaces and heating units, for the manufacture of molds for casting metal products, the manufacture of ceramic filters, etc.). No additional equipment is required for the production of materials, since changes in the technology for the production of ceramic materials concern only the compositions (UO "Belarusian State Technological University).

The developments of the National Academy of Sciences include:

LED insect trap. The autonomous trap can attract a wide range of different insects due to ultraviolet radiation and can be installed not only in a greenhouse, but also in open space. At night, the battery charge is spent on light emission, and during the day the power source is charged by solar energy. The trap operates under the control of a microcontroller, which receives and decodes a radio signal from the base station and directs power through an optional DC-DC converter to one of several backlight channels with the ability to control brightness by high-frequency pulse-width modulation. Each trap is powered by a battery of lithium-ion batteries, recharged both from an external DC source and by a solar panel. The operating parameters, including the turn-on time, change in the glow spectrum, are transmitted by the base station and set by the user via a personal computer via several possible interfaces (Republican Scientific and Production Unitary Enterprise "Center for LED and Optoelectronic Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus").

software "MeteoEye". Distributed system for receiving, processing and distributing operational space information from spacecraft (RSPOP MC) allows receiving, processing, storing and distributing Earth remote sensing data from 12 meteorological satellites, providing consumers with this data up to 26 times a day. Scope of application of the development: increasing the efficiency of the public administration system, efficiency, reliability and quality of solving monitoring natural resource management, emergency, agricultural and scientific problems, such as detection and monitoring of emergency situations; meteorological forecast; crop yield forecast; vegetation mapping, etc. (UE "Geoinformation Systems" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);

Functional diagram of the information system for the formation and maintenance of electronic energy efficiency passports of residential buildings. It is intended for the formation and maintenance of electronic energy efficiency passports of residential buildings for the purposes of planning by local executive authorities of territorial and regional energy-saving measures in the housing and communal services, architecture and construction, as well as energy sectors of the Republic of Belarus with a focus on the use of the information system on a national scale. Distinctive features: the use of various forms of energy audit in combination with current procedures for periodic inspection of the technical condition of residential buildings; registration of the condition of building elements that affect its thermophysical characteristics, using a mobile application with the prospect of using artificial intelligence technologies (State Scientific Institution "Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus");

intelligent charging station for charging electric vehicles.

The development will smooth out peak electricity consumption, which will reduce the costs of power grids and will make it possible, if necessary, to return electricity from an electric vehicle to the grid (Republican Scientific and Production Unitary Enterprise "Institute of Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus").

The BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park presents electrolytic-plasma polishing of products made of corrosion-resistant steels, nitinol, and titanium. It is designed for polishing the surface of a product to Ra 0.04 µm; removing burrs and rounding off sharp edges, including after laser cutting; removing tarnish, scale, and dirt; cleaning welds; degreasing the surface and preparing it for coating. To implement the method on an industrial scale, fundamentally new processing modes have been developed using safe electrolytes based on aqueous solutions of salts with a total concentration of no more than 5%.

These and many other developments of Belarusian scientists can be found until October 18 at the address: 20/2 Pobediteley Ave. (Football Arena).
