USA analysts praise Belarus' IT industry

Representatives of top USA analytical centers highly appreciated the advance of the Belarusian IT industry, representatives of the High-Tech Park administration said.
While staying in Belarus on 12-15 December the USA experts visited the High-Tech Park in order to get a better picture of the business development pace in Belarus, in particular, the information technologies industry. Director of the High-Tech Park administration Valery Tsepkalo informed the USA analysts about the current operation and prospects of the High-Tech Park of Belarus, about operation terms for foreign companies in the High-Tech Park, and distinguishing features of the High-Tech Park.
The American delegation also visited premises of EPAM Systems, Central and Eastern Europe’s top software developer and a resident company of the High-Tech Park. Representatives of the analytical centers talked to Belarusian and American executives of the company and assessed job conditions of the company’s personnel.
The High-Tech Park successfully cooperates with many American companies. The USA and Canada account for about 45% of the High-Tech Park’s software export. Among customers of Belarusian software are Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Oracle, Colgate-Palmolive, and IBM.
