Topical issues of ensuring the activities of science and technology parks were discussed at the republican seminar of the State Committee on Science and Technology

On June 19, 2025, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, together with the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere", held a republican seminar "Subjects of Innovative Infrastructure as a Factor in Increasing the Efficiency of Innovative Entrepreneurship" in order to form and develop competencies in the field of ensuring the activities of innovation infrastructure entities.

The seminar was opened by the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology, Sergei Shlychkov.

The event was attended by more than 80 representatives of innovation infrastructure entities, republican government bodies and other organizations, including the Innovative International Center for Scientific, Educational and Commercial Cooperation "Delo", Minsk City Technopark LLC, Globalprodservice Private Trade Unitary Enterprise, BSUIR Scientific and Technological Park Republican Innovative Unitary Enterprise, Borisov Plant of Medical Preparations OJSC, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno Technology Transfer Center, Tender magazine editorial board, Belarusian State Technological University, InKata LLC, Gorki Technopark LLC and others.

The seminar participants became familiar with methodological approaches to determining the innovative nature of the activities of technology park residents, examined the specifics of taxation of profits of science and technology parks and their residents, as well as issues of patent information support.

The mechanisms for supporting innovative activities through the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs, as well as the procedure for financing innovative projects with the involvement of funds from the Belarusian Innovation Fund, were also considered.
