On December 1, 2023, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Ensuring Scientific and Technological Safety" was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the State Committee for Science and Technology.

The conference was dedicated to the issues of methodological support for the development of the national innovation system and was organized in the following main areas: scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities; training of highly qualified scientific workers; improvement of instruments for financing scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities; technology forecasting; development of innovation infrastructure; intellectual property; development of international scientific, technical and innovative cooperation.

As noted by the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Sergei Shlychkov, the established national innovation system serves as the basis for the scientific and technological security of the country. Speaking about promising technologies that are most actively implemented by enterprises and scientific organizations in the country, he drew attention to the field of information and communication digital solutions.

Famous scientists from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic made presentations at the conference.
