Fair of innovative developments "Automation and technologies in machine and instrument building"

On April 18, the fair of innovative developments "Automation and technologies in machine and instrument building" was held in Minsk, organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support in the Scientific and Technical Sphere".

Fairs of innovative developments are held with the aim of ensuring compliance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated February 4, 2013 No. 59 "On the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific and technical activities created at the expense of state funds" and are aimed at forming and developing ties between scientific and educational institutions and enterprises, as well as for the implementation of advanced scientific and technical and innovative developments in the real sector of the economy.

Volga Khvastova, the deputy director for international scientific and innovative work, candidate of biological sciences, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. "Modern systems and means of automation in industry help to improve production processes and significantly increase work efficiency. In today's conditions, in order to take a leading position in the market, manufacturing enterprises need to respond flexibly to the changing situation, produce a diverse range of products and, if necessary, quickly adapt it according to the needs of customers, to accurately fulfill the terms and volumes of orders, to offer a competitive price and to maintain a high level of quality. Without modern means and automation systems, it is almost impossible to fulfill all these requirements," she said.

At the event, 24 promising developments of representatives of the Ministry of Education were presented (Belarusian National Technical University, branch of BNTU "Research Polytechnic Institute", Belarusian-Russian University, UA "Brest State Technical University", UA "Gomel State Technical University named after P.A. Sukhoi", UA "Hrodna State University named after Yanka Kupala"), the Ministry of Industry (JSC "MZOR"), the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (JSC "Instrument Manufacturing Plant APTRON", DNU "Institute of Metal Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus") and JSC "SPETSPELABEL" ".

More than 60 representatives of Belarusian industrial enterprises, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Engineering Society, as well as representatives of Belagroprombank, the Center for Scientific, Technical and Business Information, individual entrepreneurs, teachers and students of Belarusian universities and colleges.
