The event was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere".
The event was opened by Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovative Work Olga Khvostova. She emphasized that in accordance with the State Program for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025, in order to accelerate the development of invention, rationalization, and engineering creativity in the republic, the state faces the task of improving the work on training and popularization of invention, rationalization, and engineering creativity. One of the mechanisms for solving this task is the organization of training events on effective methods of engineering creativity (including the theory of solving inventive problems), as well as the formation of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies in the field of rationalization.
The seminar discussed the importance of inventions, discoveries and rationalization proposals in increasing the efficiency of the country's economy, technological industrialization and the foundations of its practical implementation. The transition to Industry 4.0 technologies was considered as one of the main factors in increasing the efficiency, quality and competitiveness of an enterprise.
The event participants learned about the practical experience of obtaining patents for inventions in the field of base oil technologies at Naftan OJSC.
The Vitebsk branch of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library organized an exhibition of literature on the topic of the event.
