Opening of the 29th International Exhibition of Agriculture and Food Industry "Iran agrofood"

On June 17, 2022, the 29th International Exhibition of Agriculture and Food Industry "Iran agrofood" opened in Tehran.

The event is held annually and presents modern technologies and equipment for the production, packaging, storage and transportation of food and beverages. This year, 616 exhibitors from 17 countries present their products and technologies in 18 pavilions.

The Republic of Belarus is represented at "Iran agrofood" by the collective stand of the State Committee on Science and Technology, which was formed by the Belarusian Institute for System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere.. At the booth, institutions of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus demonstrate the latest developments of our scientists, including in the field of plant protection and treatment of domestic animals.

On the opening day of the exhibition, the Belarusian exposition was visited by economic adviser to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Agha Mahammadi and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran D.V. Koltsov.
