Long-term program for scientific and technical development of the EAEU approved

The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted the recommendation "On the Strategic Program for Scientific and Technical Development of the Eurasian Economic Union for the Long-Term Period of a 'Framework' Nature."

The program was developed within the framework of the implementation of the Strategic Directions for the Development of Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025 and is aimed at forming a competitive scientific research potential by combining the efforts of the EAEU member states in the development of joint innovation projects, as well as raising the technological level of the economies of the Union countries.

The document defines areas of mutual interest, the procedure for exchanging experience and interaction between member states in the field of scientific and technological development, the criteria for organizing joint research and innovation projects, and takes into account the areas and priorities of cooperation implemented by member states.
