The National Press Center hosted a press conference on the Day of Belarusian Science

On January 24, 2023 a press-conference devoted to the Day of Belarusian Science was held in the National Press-Center. It was attended by Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Shlychkov, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Irina Starovoitova and Head of Science Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Margarita Dosina Olegovna.

The questions of the representatives of mass media regarding the implementation of the state policy in the sphere of scientific-technical and innovative activity were answered by the Chairman of SCST Sergey Shlychkov. In particular, he voiced the preliminary results of the scientific and technical programs in 2022 and gave some examples of the most significant developments, the results of the State Program of Innovation Development for 2021-2025 in 2022, changes in the order of development and implementation of programs of the Union State, as well as plans for 2023 and more.
