Final round of the Republican youth project “100 ideas for Belarus”

On March 21, 2024, the final round of the Republican youth project “100 ideas for Belarus” will take place in Minsk at the National Children’s Technopark.

The project first started in September 2011 on the initiative of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. During this time, it became not only the calling card of the organization, but also the brand of the country. Youth initiatives of project participants covered various spheres of human life: economics and energy saving, information, industrial, construction technologies, healthcare, education, sports and tourism, solving environmental problems and many others, and the project itself has grown into a high-quality launching pad for the implementation and commercialization of developments and ideas of young Belarusians.

The Republican youth project “100 ideas for Belarus” is being implemented by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union together with the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in order to activate the innovative thinking of young people and involve them in solving the problems of socio-economic development country, stimulating civil initiatives to implement innovative projects and scientific and technical developments.

This year, participants will present projects in the following categories:

– energy, including nuclear energy, and energy efficiency;

– agro-industrial technologies and farming;

– industrial and construction technologies;

– healthcare (medical technology, pharmacy, bio— and nanoindustry);

– chemical technologies, petrochemistry;

– information and communication technologies;

– ecology (rational environmental management and deep processing of natural resources);

– national security and protection from emergency situations;

– society and social sphere;

— the best business idea.

The project is a basic startup for the development of a national movement of young scientists, inventors, and innovators. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself throughout the country, get help in the development and support of your author’s project.

All project participants can take part in the Republican competition of innovative projects. The winners of the project will receive funds in the amount of up to 57 basic units for the development of business plans for innovative projects for the purpose of their further participation in the Republican Competition of Innovative Projects in the manner and under the conditions determined by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.
