Fair of Innovative developments "Medicine and Biotechnologies"

On November 15, 2023, a fair of innovative developments "Medicine and Biotechnologies" was held in Minsk, organized by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the state institution "Belarusian Institute for System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere" in order to ensure compliance with the norms of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 59 of February 4, 2013 "On Commercialization results of scientific and scientific and technical activities created at the expense of state funds", formation and development of relations between enterprises, organizations, institutions of science and education, use of advanced scientific and technical and innovative developments in the real sector of the economy.

The event was opened by the director of the State Institution "BELISA", Candidate of Biological Sciences Natalia Pavlova.

73 innovative developments of 23 enterprises and institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Republican Ministries of Health, Education, Industry, Agriculture and Food, the State Military-Industrial Committee, MedInSoft LLC and Noosphere Technologies, as well as Kemerovo State Medical University were presented and demonstrated at the fair.educational center "Kuzbass" (Russia).

Among the innovations presented are drugs for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and lung diseases that have technical advantages and exceed the scientific and technical level of their foreign counterparts; biomedical cell products for human skin regeneration and treatment of chronic diseases; photoprotective biologically active additives; methods for assessing risks to public health as a result of environmental exposure, food consumption, and operation of the Belarusian nuclear power plant; new pharmaceutical forms and products for chemotherapy; cardiac surgical implants; automated information systems and devices for making medical decisions.
