Congratulations by Sergey Shlychkov, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, on Belarusian Science Day

27.01.2023

Dear colleagues, dear friends!

Congratulations on Belarusian Science Day!

The significance of this holiday goes beyond the community of scientists. As a powerful resource of transformations, driving force of progress and the most important component of the national wealth, science has always been and remains the subject of special pride of our state.

Practice has proved that the Belarusian scientific community can solve breakthrough tasks both in economy and social sphere. Our basic research and cutting-edge developments are of great practical use in our country and far beyond its borders.

Belarus has made significant progress in nanotechnologies, nuclear and renewable energy, artificial intelligence, digitalization and robotization, biotechnologies, precision farming, animal husbandry and veterinary science, machine and instrument engineering, aerospace industry, creation of new drugs and treatment methods in health care and many other areas.

A great number of people — scientists, engineers, technologists, teachers working in research organizations, educational institutions and enterprises involved in scientific research and development — make tremendous efforts behind this.

Please accept my sincere words of gratitude and appreciation for your high professionalism and dedication.

Let in your hearts always burn unquenchable fire of scientific knowledge!

New achievements and discoveries, inexhaustible energy and health, peace and prosperity!

Chairman

of the State Committee on Science and Technology

of the Republic of Belarus S.V. Shlychkov
