National start-up competition Belarus ICT Startup Award 2023

The state institution "Belarusian Institute for System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere" with the participation of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus organizes the republican competition of start-up projects Belarus ICT Startup Award`2023.

The purpose of the competition is to create conditions for the implementation of innovative entrepreneurship and the introduction of high-tech achievements in the economy, to promote the use of digital technologies and resources in the real sector of the economy as an effective tool for the socio-economic and innovative development of the Republic of Belarus.

Contest participants get a unique opportunity to present their innovative project or development to experts, mentors, potential investors, business partners and users.

The competition is attended by start-up and innovative projects with the prospect of further scaling in accordance with the topics of the XXIX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies "TIBO-2023".

The competition is held in the nominations "Best Innovative Project" and "Best Youth Innovative Project". Participants of the competition can be legal entities and individuals, both teams and individual developers, without restrictions on professional affiliation. Participants independently determine the nomination for the innovative (startup) project they submit. Individuals under the age of 35 take part in the Best Youth Innovation Project nomination.

The final of the competition with the participation of the winners will be held on April 21, 2023 as part of the XXIX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies "TIBO-2023".

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Fill out the application form and send it to the email address novik@belisa.org.by (copy: semenenua@belisa.org.by).

Stage I — acceptance of applications for participation in the competition until April 10, 2023 (inclusive);

Stage II — selection of finalists by the working group of the competition in accordance with the submitted application form until April 14, 2023;

Stage III (final) – presentation of the projects of the finalists to the experts on April 21, 2023;

Stage IV — summing up the results of the competition. Winner's reward ceremony.

No more than 10 projects in each nomination are selected for the final of the competition .

The authors of the finalized projects are informed about the results of the second stage of the competition by e-mail specified during registration.

COMPETITION FORMAT

After the absentee selection, the finalists (authors of the 10 best projects in each nomination) will present their innovative solutions at the site of the XXIX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2023. Protection is carried out by the finalist on the basis of a multimedia presentation created in Microsoft Office Power Point and containing no more than 10 slides.

The presentation of the project should contain: its name, a brief description indicating its relevance, novelty and originality, goals and objectives that need to be solved during the implementation of the project, as well as technical (economic, social) advantages.

The winners will be determined by an expert jury: the innovativeness of the projects, the efficiency and coordination of the team's work, the quality and format of the presentation at the final pitch session are evaluated.
