International Agricultural Trade Fair Novi Sad (20-26 May 2023, Republic of Serbia, Novi Sad)

The International Agricultural Trade Fair Novi Sad will be held in the Republic of Serbia from 20 to 26 May 2023. The fair is one of the most important in the world in the field of agriculture and food.

Exhibition topics include food and beverages, food processing equipment, agricultural machinery and equipment, farming, animal husbandry, vegetable and fruit growing, chemicals for food industry, oil products, agricultural fertilizers and plant protection, technology and equipment for food packaging, design and construction in agriculture and food industry.

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus will act as the organizer of the collective section of scientific and technical developments, the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere" (hereinafter — the GU "BelISA") as the exhibition operator.

A collective section will present developments from institutions of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and organisations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which will demonstrate 62 scientific, technical and innovative developments in agriculture and the food industry.

RESULTS

International Multidisciplinary Exhibition "International Agricultural Trade Fair Novi Sad" was held from May 20 to 26, 2023 in Novi Sad (Republic of Serbia). The collective section of scientific and technical developments was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the exhibition operator — the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere.

The collective stand of scientific, technical and innovative developments was presented by institutions and organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, which demonstrated 61 exhibits.

Among the developments were:

— Baktaven C biopesticide and Vegetatin biopreparation (State Scientific and Production Association "Chemical Synthesis and Biotechnology");

— bacterial concentrate "Laksil-MS2" and fodder yeast enriched with selenium "Selekord-2000" (Institute of Microbiology, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus);

— LED electric lighting for indoor vegetable production (Center for LED and Optoelectronic Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, RNPUP);

— veterinary biopreparations for treatment and prevention of diseases of farm and domestic animals ("Biferon-Cattle", "Submastin-Cattle", "Loferon", "Biferon — MRS", "Biferon-C", etc.) and monomicro-fertilizers liquid polymeric "GISINAR" (Belarusian State University);

— "AquaGrain" and "Smart BGUT" grain cocktails, "Pumpkin-buckthorn" and "Carrot-buckthorn" nectars and rye brews using a new consortium of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria and introduction of phytosolids (EE "Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies").

The National exposition of the Republic of Belarus was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro concurrently Brilyov Valery Anatolievich, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Myatlikov Mikhail Mikhailovich, First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Lazarevich Nadezhda Anatolievna.

The participants of the collective section concluded 1 contract for the supply of products; signed 4 agreements on cooperation, 5 protocols of intentions and 1 memorandum of intentions.
