RESULTS

In the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku, as part of the Caspian Construction Week, from October 19 to 21, 2023, the international exhibition "Construction" (BakuBuild) was held.

The organizer of the collective section of scientific and technical developments within the framework of the National Exposition was the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, and the exhibition operator was the state institution "Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support for the Scientific and Technical Sphere".

36 developments of Belarusian scientists from institutions of the Ministry of Education and a resident of the Minsk City Technopark were presented to the attention of visitors to the exhibition in the form of full-scale samples, models, presentations, videos, and printed publications.

Among the developments of scientists from Belarusian universities were presented:

heat-resistant (heat-insulating, fire-retardant) composite materials based on solid phosphate binders. These materials can be used at temperatures up to 1500 ºÑ, are non-flammable, non-toxic, their production is waste-free and does not require complex equipment. The advantage of the technology for manufacturing heat-resistant materials is their low curing temperatures (20-300 ºÑ). Scope of application: aerospace engineering, metallurgy, construction, nuclear energy (Belarusian State University);

technology for the synthesis of new polyols from recycled and natural raw materials for the production of polyurethane foams. The use of polyols in a composition with polyurethane foam ensures a reduction in the cost per ton of polyurethane foam by 5–10% due to a reduction in the cost of polyol by 15–20% (Belarusian State University);

mobile overhead crane is a domed structure with lifting mechanisms up to 10 tons. Distinctive features are: foundationless installation, quick installation/dismantling without lifting cranes, low cost. The main advantage over analogues is lower cost with 100% import substitution (Belarusian National Technical University);

efficient multi-hollow monolithic reinforced concrete flat disks for floors of residential and public buildings. A new design solution for a reinforced concrete floor slab is a reinforced flat monolithic slab containing in its thickness cavities formed by void formers, the main purpose of which is to reduce the material consumption of the structure. The role of void formers is played by plastic hollow sealed bodies of rotation (ball, ellipsoid, etc.) made from recycled plastic waste. The advantage of this system is that the void formers are made of a special design with their fixation to each other to form a spatial block, which is installed directly into the thickness of the slab during concreting. At the same time, it is possible to assemble reinforcement blocks with void formers in the factory, or to install them individually directly on the construction site (Brest State Technical University);

wood protective products BIO-WOOD , designed to protect wood products from rot, mold, wood-boring insects indoors and under particularly difficult operating conditions with active exposure to atmospheric or soil moisture, including wooden building structures, grape stakes, poles, sleepers, small architectural forms. They have deep penetrating ability, provide a high degree of wood protection under extreme operating conditions, are environmentally friendly, do not affect the strength and further processing of wood, have low corrosiveness and lower cost compared to competitors (Belarusian State Technological University).

Pranas LLC, a resident of Minsk City Technopark LLC, presented bulletproof, burglary-proof, fire-resistant doors, windows, and partitions at the exhibition.

The collective stand of scientific, technical and innovative developments was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan Andrey Ravkov, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammed Musayev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Dovlyatkhan Dovlyatkhanov.

The participants in the collective section signed 31 protocols of intent for the supply of products, the possibility of organizing joint scientific research and conducting joint scientific and educational programs.
