RESULTS

The international industrial exhibition "FIA" was held from 20 to 25 June 2023 in Algiers.

The organizer of the collective section of scientific and technical developments presented at the exhibition was the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the exhibition operator was the state institution "Belarusian Institute for System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere".

30 developments of Belarusian scientists from the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and institutions of the Ministry of Education were presented to the attention of visitors of the exhibition in the form of full-scale samples, models, presentations, videos, brochures and other printed publications.

Among them:

radar absorbing materials of the KUP series, designed to effectively solve practical problems related to electromagnetic compatibility and protection of elements and blocks of aircraft from the effects of electromagnetic radiation in a wide frequency range. The materials can be used to cover the internal niche of weather radar in aircraft, as an absorber in the development of compact anechoic chambers, matched loads. A feature of this class of absorbers is thermal stability in oxidizing environments up to 400-450°C, as well as high chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents (Belarusian State University) ;

single crystals and faceted jewelry inserts from artificially grown emerald (State Scientific and Production Association "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science") ;

overhead mobile crane. It is intended for maintenance of various equipment and is a domed structure with lifting mechanisms up to 10 tons. It is a foundationless installation with the possibility of quick installation / dismantling without lifting cranes (Belarusian National Technical University).

Exhibition visitors also had the opportunity to get acquainted with electronic ceramics and products based on it, graphene-containing material and products based on it, glass-ceramic proppants, induction heating equipment, as well as a number of technologies (obtaining new types of fertilizers based on ammophosphate and urea superphosphate systems, applying composite nanocoatings based on diamond-like carbon).

The collective stand of scientific, technical and innovative developments was visited by the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Arab Republic of Egypt Igor Eduardovich Veriga.

Business meetings and negotiations were held between the participants of the collective section and Algerian business representatives, which resulted in the signing of 4 agreements for the supply of products, 4 agreements on scientific and technical cooperation, 2 protocols of intent in the development and implementation of research and commercial projects.
