Exhibition of research and innovation projects in Turkey

Seminar-presentation of Belarusian R&D organisations and satellite exhibition of research and innovation projects (R&D Project Platform) were held 15-16 September, 2005 in Ankara, Turkey. The events took place in the Cultural Centre of Middle East Technological University which has got one of the largest technoparks in Europe in order to inform turkish scientific community about developments of foreign innovation enterprices and technoparks.

Seminar-presentation and exhibition were organised by the State Committee for Science and Technologies of the Republic of Belarus. Belarusian section occupied 60 sq.m where more than 170 exhibits were placed. National Academy of Sciences was represented by 5 institutions. 13 universities represented Belarusian Ministry of Education.

The Ambassador of Belarus in Turkey Natalia Zhilevich took part in the opening ceremony. Leaders of turkish ministries, representatives of embassies and foreign diplomatic missions visited the exhibition.

Several meetings and negotiations took place at Belarusian section. Oppotunities of research results and developmets, their technical characteristics and spheres of application were discussed. As a result a number of agreements on cooperation and protocols on intentions have been signed.
