Exhibition of achievements of Belarusian science "Belarus intellectual" (20-22 January 2029, Minsk)

From January 20 to 22, 2023 in the National Exhibition Center "Belexpo" will be an exhibition of achievements of national science "Belarus intellectual". The concept of the event lies in the presentation of thematically classified diverse Belarusian scientific developments to the visitors. The idea of the exhibition was first put into practice in December 2017, when the exhibition "Science and Innovation of the Republic of Belarus" was held as part of the II Congress of Scientists of the Republic of Belarus, the exposition of which included eight clusters. This year there are already 13:

— Artificial Intelligence. IT-technologies. Robotics;

— Microelectronics and its component base;

— Defense. Military science;

— Neoindustrial complex / Industry 4.0;

— Electric transport and its basic components;

— Technologies for space exploration;

— Transfer of scientific achievements to the real sector of economy;

— Energy. Ecology. Nature management;

— Biotechnology and biomaterials;

— Pharmacy. Health. Medicine;

— Agroindustrial complex. Food;

— Sociology and humanities;

— The space of youth initiatives.

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter — SCST) will take part in the exhibition in the form of a section of scientific and technical developments in the thematic block "Transfer of scientific achievements to the real sector of the economy. The life cycle of the innovations will be presented to the visitors' attention: from the birth of the advanced scientific developments of the domestic scientists to their implementation into the real sector of the economy and the social sphere. The role of the SCST and its subordinate organizations (BelISA, NCIS, RSTB, Belinfond) in creation and commercialization of scientific developments will be illustrated on the samples selected for the exhibition as well as in the form of video clips.

Along with this, the exhibition will present the developments of technopark residents in the form of full-scale samples and presentation materials.

Admission is free for visitors on January 21-22.

RESULTS

In the period from January 20 to 29, 2023, the exhibition of achievements of domestic science "Intellectual Belarus" was held at the National Exhibition Center "Belexpo". The exhibition was scheduled for January 20-22, however, due to the high interest of visitors and numerous requests from members of the public, the exhibition was extended until January 29.

The exhibition presented the developments of scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and many other scientific organizations.

The exposition at the exhibition was organized into different clusters. Among them are artificial intelligence, IT technologies, robotics; microelectronics and its component base; defense capability and military science; electric transport and its basic components; technologies for space exploration; energy, ecology, nature management; biotechnologies and biomaterials; pharmacy, health care, medicine; agro-industrial complex, food; space for youth initiatives.

The State Committee for Science and Technology represented the cluster in the thematic block "Commercialization of Developments". The samples selected for the exposition, as well as in the form of videos, illustrated the role of the State Committee for Science and Technology and its subordinate organizations (GU "BelISA", NCIS, RNTB, Belinfond) in the creation and commercialization of scientific developments.

Also within the framework of this thematic block, visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to get acquainted with the most striking examples of innovative developments of residents of Belarusian technology parks, among which are:

the information complex of telemedicine diagnostics "Osmotr+", which conducts a survey on the presence of complaints about well-being, determines the fact of taking drugs, and also conducts a test to assess a person's condition, provides connection of additional medical equipment in order to expand the functionality of the system, eliminates direct contact between the subject and the health worker (LLC "BelTeleMed Technologies") ;

walking simulator "STEP", designed to stimulate the muscles of the lower and upper limbs and perform complex exercises in a vertical position (OOO "STILSTROY-TSK") ;

disinfection arch "Gate_0" Basic with ramps. A basic configuration model was presented at the exhibition, but this product is also produced with advanced features that allow early recognition of the symptoms of viral diseases in people in crowded places and prevent their further spread (InKata LLC) ;

Autonomous robot for playing billiards — Robot Snooker. The robot is designed both for training beginners in billiards, and for training the coaching staff (INKATA LLC) ;

electric bike Punch1. This electric bike is capable of speeds up to 120 km / h, the mileage on a single charge is about 100 km. The battery charges in 6 hours. Localization is about 85–90% (KAGE IMPEX LLC).

The developments of a number of technopark residents were also presented in the form of videos:

hardware-software complex "Electronic Queue Management Digial-Q" (LLC "Science Solution");

online management system for an intelligent cottage settlement (apartment buildings) (Cloudtechnology LLC);

software for controlling robotic systems and Q-MESH, a self-organizing distributed network for information transfer and object control, focused on IoT support (Idey Robotics LLC);

digital twin of an agricultural enterprise (LLC "Technologies of Agriculture");

digital animal husbandry and "Faust veiw" — medical image analysis technology using artificial intelligence in mammology (ElitSoft LLC).

As a result of the exhibition, preliminary agreements were reached on the supply of certain types of equipment, including to the Russian Federation; received proposals for cooperation.
