Republican seminar on inventions, rationalization and engineering and technical creativity (May 24, 2023, Grodno)

On May 24, 2023, in order to increase the inventive level and innovative activity of developers of scientific and technical products by teaching modern methods of solving inventive and rationalization problems of different levels the Republican seminar on the issues of invention, rationalization and engineering and technical creativity will be held.

The format of the seminar is hybrid (offline and online).

Location: Grodno, 8 Stefan Batory St., conference hall of "NEMAN" hotel.

Time: 10:30-15:00. Registration — from 10:00.

Participation in the seminar is free.

Design engineers, quality specialists, technologists, production foremen and shift supervisors, managers of any level, skilled workers and other specialists interested in the modernization and development of enterprises are invited to participate.

As part of the seminar, a competition for solving PROBLEMS with the help of the theory of inventive problem solving is announced. Memorable prizes will be given to active participants.

RESULTS

On May 24, 2023, the Republican Seminar on Invention, Rationalization and Engineering and Technical Creativity was held in Grodno.

The participants of the seminar were welcomed by the Deputy Director for International Scientific and Innovation Work of the State Institution "BelISA" Khvostova Olga Valerievna and the Head of the Department for the Development of Innovative Infrastructure, Commercialization and Intellectual Property of the Innovation Policy Department of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic Belarus Sosnovsky Andrei Vladimirovich.

Why does an enterprise need TRIZ?" were presented by Kozlov Gennady Anatolyevich (manager of educational MTRIZ programs) and Orlov Mikhail Alexandrovich (Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, author of the MTRIZ methodology, founder and head of the Academy of Instrumental Modern-TRIZ).

Alexander Mazanik, Head of the Department of Patent Documentation and Editing of the National Centre of Intellectual Property, briefed the participants of the workshop on the procedure for filing and maintaining an application for invention patents.

Employees of OAO Lidskoye Pivo, chief technologist Malakhov Oleg Vladislavovich and LEAN manager Pipir Andrey Rychardovich shared their experience in implementing the kaizen movement in their company.

A member of the Republican Council of Public Association "Belarusian Society of Inventors and Innovators", deputy chairman of the methodical council on development of practical manuals on organizational and normative-methodical support of development of rationalization activity in the Republic of Belarus, consultant Ladik Larisa Pavlovna answered the questions of the seminar participants and also drew attention of the listeners that they can find many answers to their questions in the «A practical manual for the promotion of innovation and technical creativity among young people», the website of the Republican Scientific-Technical Library.

The event was attended in person and connected online to the live broadcast by 145 listeners from more than 100 institutions, organisations and enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, ministries of education, industry, economy, defence, communication and information, energy, health, internal affairs, agriculture and food, transport and communications, sport and tourism, concern Belnefnekhim, State Military Industrial Committee, National Centre of Intellectual Property, Belarusian Society of Invention, and the Belarusian Society of Inventors and Developers.

The results of the workshop's problem-solving competition using the theory of inventive problem-solving were summed up. Active participants were awarded certificates and commemorative prizes, including: Danila Bulatsky, Nikita Kalistratov, Arthur Kazak, Yuri Piskun, Olga Khovanskaya, Victor Tsarikov, and Ekaterina Shevelenko, pupils of the "CodeClub" and "Time to code" programming interests association of Lida District Centre for Technical Creativity under the guidance of teacher Anna Yankovskaya — Sasha Barkovsky, Rostislav Burdun, Egor Dedul, Nikita Likhanov, Aleksey Nikonov, Timofey Pavlovsky, Mark Podgaysky, Kirill Slesarev, Kirill Hanko.
