Report on the International scientific practical conference "Preparation of the scientific staff of higher qualification in conditions of innovative development of the economy. Regional, interregional and international aspects"
The International scientific practical conference “Preparation of the scientific staff of higher qualification in conditions of innovative development of the economy. Regional, interregional and international aspects” held in Minsk from May 30 to June 1, 2007 was organized by Belarusian institute of system analysis and information support of scientific and technical sphere in accordance with the Plan of scientific and practical measures of the State Committee for Science and Technologies for 2007.
The purposes of the Conference:
- discussion on the problems of providing scientific, technical and innovative activities with personnel;
- development of proposals on harmonization of legal and institutional base for preparation and certification of the scientific staff of higher qualification in Belarus, neighbor countries and other foreign countries;
- exchange of international experience;
- informing national and international public on opportunities of preparation and certification of the staff of higher scientific qualification in the Republic of Belarus, CIS and neighbor countries.
The Conference was held under the protectorate of the State Committee for Science and Technologies, Higher Certification Board of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Education and National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Representatives of numerous organizations from Belarus and abroad — bodies of state management, scientific establishments, universities, mass media, etc. have taken part in the event, including: the SCS&T, Higher Certification Board of the Kirghiz Republic, Higher Certification Board of the Republic of Armenia, Higher Certification Board of the Republic of Belarus, Higher Certification Board of Russian Federation, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus; National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belarusian State University, Yerevan State University, Pyatigorsk State Technological University; St.-Petersburg State University, Tyraspol State University, Kharkov State University, National Centre of Scientific and Technical Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kiev National Economic University, Belarusian Academy of Post-Graduate Education and other research organizations, and also representatives of MASS-MEDIA — Belarusian TV, Soviet Byelorussia, BelÒÀ, news agencies.
