Days of German Science in Belarus (Minsk, 5-6 October 2010)
Germany and Belarus have a long experience of cooperation in science, technology and innovation. It’s based on the bi-lateral agreement on developing of a large-scale cooperation in economy, industry, science and technology signed in 1993.
To give it a new impulse, the German Federal Ministry for Education and Science and the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus have initiated the Days of German Science in Belarus to be held on 5-6 October 2010 in Minsk. The event is supported by the Belarusian State University.
The Days consist of the two major events:
- 5 October — Information Day «Research in Germany: Partnership for Future», 5a Bobrujskaya str., Belarusian State University, Rector’s House;
- 6 October — Young Researchers’ Day, 1 Akademicheskaya str., room 223, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. It is organized by DAAD.
Representatives of German research institutions and organizations which support R&D will tell you about their activities and present the instruments and programs for promoting the bi-lateral cooperation. The agenda foresees also a presentation of successful joint S&T projects, as well as exchange of views on the framework conditions and opportunities for intensifying the S&T collaboration.
